Pierre Sagara

Pierre Sagara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Regional Manager - Francophone at Pula since January 2024, Sagara focuses on using innovative agricultural insurance and digital products to assist smallholder farmers in managing yield risks and enhancing their farming practices. Prior to this role, Sagara held positions at Safir Consulting from July 2018 to December 2023, where responsibilities included leading the insurance division and managing SAP projects. Previous experience includes a structured products junior engineer role at Société Générale - Africa Technologies & Services and a credit risk management internship at Maxima-Finance. Pierre Sagara holds an Ingenieur d'Etat degree in Finance de marché et Actuariat from Université Caddi Ayyad and a DEUST in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Chemistry from Faculté des Sciences et Techniques de Béni Mellal.
