Shimirwa Bless is an experienced agricultural professional with a strong background in community facilitation and research support. Currently serving as a Community Based Facilitator with the AVSI Foundation and a Field Agent with PULA, Shimirwa focuses on empowering farmers through training in Good Agricultural Practices and facilitating Farmer Field and Business Schools for refugees and host communities. Since May 2021, Shimirwa has also worked as an Enumerator for FAO and has been involved as a Field Agronomist with Home Harvest since October 2024. Shimirwa holds a Second Class upper division degree from Bishop Stuart University, attained between 2022 and 2024, and previously gained experience as a Volunteer Research Assistant with Action Against Hunger.
