Scott Winston

Scott Winston has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Scott is currently the CEO at Pulpex since June 2021. Prior to that, they were a Director at Pulpex from March 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Pulpex, Scott worked at Diageo for many years starting from March 2005. Scott held several senior management positions including Senior Manager Commercial Science, Senior Manager Long Term Development, Acting Senior Manager Long Term Development, Principal Scientist, Senior Liquid Innovation Manager, and Senior Scientist. In these roles, they focused on driving scientific research, innovation, and development of new products. Scott contributed to IP protection, leading complex technology projects, and building relationships with global partners.

Scott's earlier experience includes working as an Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham starting April 2018. Scott also worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at The University of British Columbia from March 2003 to December 2004, where they developed a water-based nitrogen gas removal system for natural gas purification.

Scott Winston received a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Southampton from 1996 to 1999. Scott later pursued a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry at the same institution from 1999 to 2003.
