Abbas Jaffal has extensive experience in software quality assurance and engineering education. Currently serving as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Pulse Systems, Inc. since August 2006, Abbas is responsible for triaging defects, evaluating their severity, and communicating with software support for resolution. In addition, Abbas has been an instructor at Butler Community College since August 2004, teaching courses in basic math, college algebra, and Business Calculus. Prior experience includes working as a Test Engineer at LSI Logic from January 1998 to August 2006, where responsibilities involved the certification of controller software, writing test scripts, and performing automated tests. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, both from The Wichita State University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
