Applied for cell disintegration purposes, electroporation leads to more efficient production processes for potato, vegetable, fruit and meat products.  Applied on liquids and semi-liquids PEF can achieve a non-thermal food preservation while maintaining organoleptic and nutritional product quality and freshness.
