Jeffrey Yu

Jeffrey Yu is a seasoned professional in the animation and creative industries, currently serving as Co-Executive Director of ASIFA-South since November 2018, where leadership focuses on advancing the art of animation in the Southeastern United States. With extensive experience in various roles, including Business Director at ASIFA-South, VR Content Artist at Pulseworks LLC, and Creative Director at Slothique, Jeffrey has successfully managed teams, developed strategic partnerships, and executed innovative projects. Notable contributions include overseeing the art lead for the animated pilot "MINE," participating in award-winning projects such as JOYRIDERS, and collaborating with social media influencers for product design at Juniper Creates. An educator, Jeffrey has also served as an adjunct lecturer at Penn State University, imparting knowledge on digital painting techniques. Academic credentials include an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Ohio University and a BFA in Animation from Savannah College of Art and Design.
