Benoît Briane

Benoît Briane is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and power electronics engineering, currently serving as the Global R&D Leader for eDrive at Punch Powertrain since June 2021, overseeing R&D teams across multiple sites. Prior roles include Chief Engineer - R&D Leader Inverter and Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering at Cubic | Trafficware, where management of cross-functional teams and development of cabinet and controller systems were key responsibilities. Benoît also held the position of Project Manager at VAM USA and has significant experience from Renault-Nissan as Principal Electrical Engineer, where leadership of a team in developing innovative electrical systems was executed. Educationally, Benoît holds a Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Electrical Engineering from CentraleSupélec, obtained from 2002 to 2005.
