Bryan Warren

Bryan Warren is the current advisor at PunchAlert and has over 31 years of experience in healthcare security, safety, and emergency management. Bryan has served on a number of national task forces, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Infrastructure Protection. In addition, Bryan has been named one of the Top 20 Most Influential People in Security in the US by Security Magazine and as one of the Top 30 Voices in Healthcare Security by Forbes magazine.

Before their current position, Bryan was the President and Chief Consultant at WarSec Security. WarSec Security specializes in healthcare security and safety consultation, facility and program assessment, staff education, and regulatory compliance. Bryan conducted healthcare security assessments and training workshops across the United States, Canada, and Australia during their time there.

Previously, Bryan was the Field Liaison Officer for the North Carolina Information Sharing And Analysis Center (NC ISAAC). In this role, they were responsible for reporting and disseminating suspicious activity and other criminal information to their local agency and to ISAAC. Bryan was also the Past President of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety for 14 years.

Most recently, Bryan served as the Director of Corporate Security at Atrium Health for 24 years and 6 months. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing security programs to protect Atrium Health's patients, visitors, employees, and assets.

Bryan Warren attended Columbia Southern University, where they earned their MBA in Business with a concentration in legal foundations of healthcare. Bryan graduated with honors in 2012. Bryan also attended Gardner-Webb University, where they earned their degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Administration. Bryan was a member of the National Honor Society and the National Deans List and assisted in instructing several classes due to investigatory and management experience. Bryan Warren is also certified as a Healthcare Protection Administrator and a Protection Officer Instructor.
