Jonathan Dingle

Jonathan Dingle has a diverse background in the field of surveying and measurement. Jonathan is currently serving as the Head of Measurement Standards at The Digital Studio Lab, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at Biff Lewis Geomatics Inc. from 2018 to 2021, first as a Professional Land Surveyor in Training from July 2018 to August 2019, and then as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor from August 2019 to September 2021. Before joining Biff Lewis Geomatics Inc., they worked at SatMap Solutions from April 2013 to June 2018 as a Technical Surveyor and 3D LASER Scanning modeler. In this role, they were responsible for conducting field work for engineering surveys and post-processing data into final CAD drawings, including high-definition 3D surveys of industrial sites, Architectural As-builts, and Full TMH11 road surveys.

Jonathan Dingle completed their education at the University of Cape Town from 2007 to 2013. During this time, they received a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Eng) degree in Energy Studies and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Geomatics. Prior to their university education, Jonathan attended Camps Bay High, where they obtained their Matric qualification.

In terms of additional certifications, Jonathan obtained the Registration of Sectional Title Practitioners certification from the South African Geomatics Council in August 2020. In August 2019, they also received the Registration as Geomatics Professional Land Surveyor certification from the same institution. Additionally, Jonathan is set to earn the MRICS Chartered Land Surveyor certification from RICS in January 2023.
