Matthew Freestone

Matthew Freestone has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Matthew is currently working as the Director of IT at Pura, where they are responsible for developing IT strategies and managing IT operations. Previously, they worked at Altigen as a Contact Center Solutions specialist.

Before that, Matthew held multiple positions at Blue Panda Communications, including Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Research and Development, and Director of Infrastructure. In these roles, they led technology research and implementation, conceptualized new solutions, and managed development teams.

Prior to Blue Panda Communications, Matthew worked as the Director of Microsoft Cloud Solutions at AltiGen Communications, Inc., where they were responsible for designing and deploying Skype for Business infrastructure.

Matthew also worked at CallTower as a Senior Systems Engineer, overseeing Lync/Skype for Business infrastructure.

Matthew's work experience also includes positions at OBT Anywhere (USA), where they built cloud hosting environments, and Prometheus Networks, where they served as the CTO and co-founded the company.

Matthew started their career as an IT Manager at Interior Solutions, where they managed networks and upgraded Exchange servers.

Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in IT strategy development, infrastructure management, and technology research and implementation.

Matthew Freestone attended Montezuma-Cortez High School from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained their high school degree. In 1996, they also attended a vocational school to study electronics. In terms of certifications, Matthew has obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, Lync 2013 Depth Support Engineer Specialist, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MS: Lync 2013 Depth Support Engineer, Lync Server 2010, Configuration, MCITP: Lync Server Administrator 2010, MCTS: Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Configuring, and Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Administration. Additionally, they have certifications in MCTS: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Configuration and A+ from CompTIA.
