Scott Rushforth

Scott Rushforth currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Pura since May 2023. Previously, Scott held the position of Strategic Advisor at Bird from July 2017 until April 2024, following a significant tenure building the company from the ground up. In various roles at Bird, including Chief Vehicle Officer and Executive Vice President of Vehicles, Scott oversaw technology and product development teams. Earlier experience includes co-founding Activity Club, serving as VP of Engineering at Anybeat.com, and holding senior technical roles at MySpace and 0x7a69 Inc., where Scott consulted for a diverse range of companies managing teams of up to 100 people. Additional roles included Unix Hacker at Chopwood, Inc., and Administrator and Tool Developer at CalPOP.com Inc.
