Joe Dzikiewicz

Joe Dzikiewicz has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Joe currently serves as a Principal Engineer at Purchasing Platform, Inc. since 2022. Prior to this, Joe worked as a Director and Leader for Discordian Films and Crimes of the Art Media, where they directed numerous award-winning short films. In 2020, they were a Principal Software Engineer at Solution Street, where they developed software for Framebridge, Inc. using Ruby on Rails and AngularJS. From 2017 to 2019, Joe worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services. In 2013, they worked as the CTO for The Trip Tribe, responsible for enhancing and maintaining their social travel platform. Joe also served as the CTO for SGN Inc. in 2011, where they built the beta system for the Treater social gifting platform. Joe's career also includes a CTO role at Mixx from 2007 to 2011, where they managed the development and operations teams for their web applications. Joe began their career as a Systems Architect at AOL in 1996, working on various web application areas such as search and community applications. Additionally, Joe worked as an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Tech from 1996 to 2000.

Joe Dzikiewicz completed their education with a Doctorate in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 1986 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1981 to 1984.
