Stav Zeliger is an Aerospace Engineering student at Purdue University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. They currently serve as the Ground Station & Communications Design Lead for Purdue Orbital, working on a communication system for the team’s rocket. Stav was previously an EDG Intern at MathWorks, where they designed and deployed an SDK for FMI integration, and they also contributed as a mechanical team lead for FRC Team 4048. Additionally, they held positions as a Teaching Assistant at S.E.T School and a Test Automation Intern at myDocendo, demonstrating a strong background in engineering and education. Currently, Stav leads research at the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics focusing on autonomous UAVs for search and rescue operations.
