Michele Sharp

Michele Sharp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michele is currently the Vice President of Corporate Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility at Purdue Pharma L.P. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director of Corporate Communications & Media Relations at Purdue Pharma from 2021 to 2022. Before joining Purdue Pharma, Michele worked at the Connecticut Hospital Association as the Vice President of Membership and Communications from 2018 to 2020. Michele also served as the Vice President of Communications at the same organization from 2015 to 2020. Michele's earlier experience includes roles at the American Association for Cancer Research, The Karma Agency, McDaniel College, WBAL-TV11, FOX 45 WBFF-TV Baltimore, CNN, and U.S. News & World Report. Throughout their career, Michele has gained expertise in public affairs, media relations, communications, and journalism.

Michele Sharp holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organizational Transformation from Baylor University, with an expected completion date in 2025. Michele also earned a Graduate certificate in Health Policy from Thomas Jefferson University from 2017 to 2021. Michele obtained a Reputation Management Certificate from PRSA in 2020. Earlier in their education, they completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public Affairs and International Broadcast Journalism at American University from 1999 to 2000. Michele also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Anthropology, African Studies, and Hebrew Language from Bryn Mawr College, which they completed from 1995 to 1999.
