Max Mackay

Max Mackay has a diverse work experience in the field of design and architecture. Max is currently serving as the Head of Design at Purdy & Figg since November 2021. Prior to this, Max worked as a Director at OMAK Design from August 2017. OMAK Design is a creative agency focused on providing design solutions for innovative clients.

Before joining Purdy & Figg and OMAK Design, Max worked at Bennetts Associates as an Architect from July 2021 to November 2021. Max also held the position of Architectural Assistant Part II at Bennetts Associates from July 2019 to July 2021.

In 2018, Max worked as an intern at 5plus architects for nine weeks, where they assisted in office design projects and gained skills in MicroStation.

Max also gained valuable experience at HTA Design LLP, where they worked in different roles. Max served as an Architectural Assistant (Part I) from August 2016 to August 2017 and as an intern from August 2015 to August 2015, shadowing a senior architect and contributing to various large-scale projects.

Additionally, Max worked as an intern at Allan Joyce Architects and nicol thomas in 2015, further enhancing their knowledge and skills in the field.

Max Mackay completed their high school education at The Grange School in Hartford from the year 2000 to 2013. Max then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture at the University of Nottingham from 2013 to 2016. Max Mackay further advanced their education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Architecture (MArch) from the University of Nottingham in July 2019. Additionally, they hold certifications in various subjects such as Art, ICT, Maths, and Physics, which were obtained from AQA in June 2013. Max Mackay has also earned the designation of an ARB Accredited Architect from the Architects Registration Board in June 2022.
