Amit Chohan

Amit Chohan has extensive experience in engineering and program management within the technology sector, beginning with a role as Quality Engineer at Mape USA Incorporated, focusing on failure analysis for snowmobile engines. Subsequent positions include Senior Development Engineer at Seagate Technology, where Amit evaluated mechanical designs for Head-Gimbal-Assemblies, and Senior Staff Engineer at WD, developing test evaluation plans for thermo-mechanical designs. Amit further advanced to hold leadership roles, including Principal Program Manager at Western Digital, where operational development was led for magnetic head projects, and Director of Program Management, overseeing both US and overseas teams. At SanDisk, Amit directed product development for enterprise and cloud solid-state drives and currently serves as Chief of Staff for FlashBlade Foundation at Pure Storage, managing product and engineering roadmaps. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, a Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University, and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
