Feng Wang is a software engineer who has been a Founding Engineer at Pure Storage since 2009. Previously, they served as a Principal Software Engineer at Symantec from 2005 to 2009, where they designed a file-level replication solution for the FileStore product line and developed a scalable file system check for VxFS, resulting in several patents in the area of file system scalability. Feng holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
