Jay Bhatt is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in automation and developer tools. Starting as a Software Engineer intern at Hewlett-Packard, Jay developed EFI shell command-line tools for IA64 servers. In subsequent roles, including Automation Engineer at Transmeta and VMware, Jay focused on enhancing QA tools and testing infrastructure, helping shape product release decisions through data visualization. Currently, as a Senior Software Engineer at Pure Storage, Jay is dedicated to optimizing developer workflows and automated testing within CI pipelines, contributing significantly to the company’s growth to a $20 billion market cap by 2025.
