John Chau

John Chau currently serves as the VP of Engineering Infrastructure Shared Services at Pure Storage, overseeing engineering infrastructure within the Platform Business Unit since June 2022. Prior to this, John held several senior leadership positions, including VP of Engineering Ops and IT at eHealth, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed Engineering Operations, Global IT, InfoSec, and PMO. Experience also includes tenure at LendingClub as VP of TechOps, managing the lending platform and IT needs, and serving as SVP of Technical Operations at MZ, where John significantly expanded the TechOps organization. Earlier roles at Salesforce.com and VMware involved leadership in infrastructure management and engineering across various technical disciplines. John's career began at Covad Communications as NOC Manager and included production management at DPS Electronics. John Chau holds a BS in Accounting from San José State University.
