Michael C.

Michael C. is an experienced technology executive currently serving as CTO for the Americas at Pure Storage since July 2020. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Qumulo and General Manager of Storage Technologies for Azure Hardware Infrastructure at Microsoft. Michael has a long tenure at Pure Storage, including roles as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Asia Pacific and Japan. Earlier in Michael's career, notable positions included Lead Technologist for Flash Memory at Sun Microsystems and Manager of iPod Storage Engineering at Apple Computer. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Certificate in Chief Data Officer from Carnegie Mellon University.
