Roy Child

Roy Child is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in solutions architecture and product management. Currently serving as a Solutions Architect at Pure Storage since April 2019, Roy previously worked at Commvault from April 2013 to April 2019, where responsibilities included managing hardware integrations under the IntelliSnap technology and overseeing data protection product management. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Windows and VMware Architect and Engineer at Northern Trust from March 1999 to March 2013, where Roy designed and managed global infrastructure, and served as Chair of the Active Directory standards group. Early career roles included Field Service Supervisor at Inter*Act Systems and Assistant Manager at Egghead Software. Roy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio from Columbia College Chicago, completed between 1994 and 2000.
