Uma Ramesh

Uma Ramesh is a seasoned data analytics professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Data Analytics Operations at Pure Storage since December 2023, Uma focuses on developing modern data infrastructure to enhance analytics across the enterprise. Previously, as Data and Analytics Leader at VMware from December 2019 to November 2023, Uma led a team in business intelligence, big data, and advanced analytics across multiple business functions. Between September 2015 and December 2019, Uma worked as a Senior Architect at Brillio, specializing in data visualization and business intelligence solutions. Prior roles include Technical Architect at Target India, where efforts were centered on data warehousing solutions for retail operations, and Consultant at WIPRO, providing specialized data warehousing solutions. Uma's career began at Nucleus Software as a Programmer, focusing on report development and system support. Uma holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computers from the University of Mumbai.
