Sam Post

Sam Post is a mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in electrical and mechanical systems design across various industries. Currently employed at Pure Watercraft as a Mechanical Design Engineer II since November 2021, Sam has integrated advanced electronics in electric outboard motors and developed critical system specifications. Prior experience includes a role at Directed Machines, where Sam contributed to the development of a solar-powered autonomous agricultural robot, and at Smith Berger Marine Inc, where Sam designed mooring and towing equipment for the marine industry. Additional roles at Quanex Window & Door Systems and other internships provided foundational skills in mechanical design, CNC programming, and engineering support. Sam holds a degree from Washington State University, obtained in 2013.
