Ashley True

Ashley True has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Ashley is currently working as an Assistant General Counsel at PureCycle Technologies since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Lumen Technologies as an Associate General Counsel specializing in Corporate Governance & Transactions from December 2019 to March 2022.

In 2019, Ashley had multiple roles, including Temporary Counsel at Avondale Marine from April to July, and Interim Securities & Governance Counsel at U.S. Silica Company from January to April.

From 2015 to 2018, they served as the General Counsel - Americas Region at Agility.

Earlier in their career, Ashley worked at Panalpina, Inc. as the Global Counsel - Oil & Gas and Panprojecs from December 2012 to October 2014. Their responsibilities involved providing strategic legal advice, negotiating global commercial agreements, managing disputes, and advising on compliance matters.

Ashley also worked at Albemarle Corporation as a Consulting Counsel - Corporate Governance & Compliance from July 2011 to October 2012. One of their major contributions was assessing and updating corporate compliance policies.

Before that, Ashley was the Corporate Division Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary at The Shaw Group from December 2008 to May 2011, where they provided legal and compliance counsel to key corporate functions.

Ashley has also held positions as the General Counsel at Trump SoHo from February 2007 to November 2008 and Vice President, Litigation and Regulatory Affairs at Morgan Stanley from November 2004 to February 2007. At Morgan Stanley, they led the company's response to regulatory investigations and litigation, conducted internal investigations, and managed outside counsel.

Ashley True has a diverse education history. In 1992, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Louisiana State University. Following this, from 1995 to 1998, they pursued their Juris Doctor degree at Tulane University Law School, where they focused on the study of Law. Most recently, in 2021, Ashley attended the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law for Executive Education, obtaining a certificate in Sustainable Capitalism and ESG. Additionally, they received a certification in Sustainable Capitalism & ESG Online in September 2021 from Berkeley Law Executive Education.
