Timothy Blum

Timothy Blum has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Timothy is currently a Reliability Engineer at PureCycle Technologies, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Planner and Scheduler at Aveva Drug Delivery Systems from June 2020 to December 2021.

From 2018 to 2020, Timothy was a Maintenance Planner at O-I, where they implemented SAP PM and preventive maintenance practices at a glass facility, managing over 400 assets and maintenance routines.

Before that, Timothy held various roles at Gerdau from 2014 to 2018, including Maintenance Manager, Reliability Engineer, and Management Associate. In these positions, they achieved performance goals, collaborated with a maintenance team and manufacturer for process improvements, and led projects on failure mode analysis and preventive maintenance optimization.

Timothy's earlier work experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Applied Superconductivity Center, a Maintenance and Reliability Intern at Gerdau Long Steel North America, a Lab Technician at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, and an Asphalt Lab Intern at Arr-Maz Custom Chemicals, Inc. Timothy also worked as a Tracks Attendant at Fun Spot USA.

Timothy Blum obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University, completing their education from 2008 to 2014.
