Tom Vazdar

Tom Vazdar is an experienced professional serving in multiple influential roles within the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. As a Board Member of the Croatian AI Association (CroAI), Tom shapes Croatia's national AI agenda, fostering collaboration across technology, business, academia, and policy sectors. In addition to leading Riskoria Advising and Professional Services as CEO and Founder, Tom also holds the position of Area Chair for Cybersecurity at the Open Institute of Technology, where leadership of the MSc program focuses on enterprise cybersecurity. Furthermore, Tom contributes as an AI Advisor and Lecturer at The Upgrade, mentoring students in AI applications, and serves as Partner and Chief AI Officer at PurpleSec, where efforts are concentrated on AI security strategies and ethical AI integration. Additional academic engagement includes a guest lecturer role at the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb and participation as a Program Board Member at the RSA Conference.
