Robert Ryshke is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in school administration and teaching. Currently certified as a GLP debriefer for Global Leadership Associates, Robert has been an Educational Consultant at Purpose Built Communities since July 2015. As the co-founder of the Atlanta K12 Design Challenge, Robert contributed to an innovative initiative involving 11 schools and over 85 faculty members. Previously, Robert served as Executive Director of the Center for Teaching at The Westminster Schools, overseeing professional development for faculty across multiple institutions. With roles ranging from Head of School at The Meadows School to Division Head at North Shore Country Day School, and academic leadership positions at various educational institutions, Robert has dedicated over three decades to fostering educational excellence. Robert's academic qualifications include a Master's in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and coursework towards an M.Ed. at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Purpose Built Communities
Purpose Built Communities is an organization that helps local leaders implement a comprehensive, long-term place-based redevelopment model with public and private partners in neighborhoods of concentrated urban poverty to create healthy, vibrant neighborhoods where all residents can thrive. It is a nonprofit consulting firm that offers its services free of charge. The Purpose Built Model includes mixed-income housing, a cradle-to-college education pipeline and community wellness programs and facilities in a defined neighborhood, coordinated by a dedicated, nonprofit community quarterback organization. There are now 16 Purpose Built Communities Network Members across the United States.
