Purpose First Beach Cleanup is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in San Diego, California, dedicated to reducing ocean pollution and building community through action. Since our founding, we’ve hosted monthly beach cleanups and removed over 12,000 pounds of trash from local coastlines, uniting volunteers, sponsors, and community members in a shared mission.

Our Mission:
To make a tangible impact on the pollution problems facing the earth by providing education, sponsoring events, and promoting innovation for more sustainable materials. We aim to create cleaner oceans and stronger communities by engaging people of all ages in hands-on environmental service.
