Founded in 2025, Purpose Production didn't start in a typical garage or a tech hub. It started with a question: How do we break the cycle? We saw a system where incarcerated individuals were often sidelined, losing their connection to their families and their sense of worth. We decided to build a bridge back.

We believe that dignity is earned through hard work, but it is sustained by fair treatment. In an industry where labor is often undervalued, we’ve taken a radical stand: every member of our team earns a true living wage.
For our team members, that paycheck is more than just numbers on a screen. It’s the ability to buy a pair of shoes for a child at home, the power to pay off a debt, and the dignity of building a savings account for the day they walk back into the world. By paying a living wage, we aren’t just offering a job; we are offering a foundation for a new life.

Our key mission is simple yet profound: To provide quality jobs that allow incarcerated
people to support their families and positively impact their communities.
We are turning the tide on recidivism by replacing "time served" with "skills mastered."
