Longgena Ginting

Longgena Ginting is a non-profit leader, campaigner, and program strategist currently serving as the Indonesia Country Director at Purpose. With over 25 years of experience in social and environmental movements, they have held significant roles, including Country Director at Greenpeace Indonesia and Executive Director of Friends of the Earth Indonesia. Longgena was previously the Strategy and Analysis Director for Greenpeace Southeast Asia and has coordinated international campaigns for Friends of the Earth International. They hold a Master's degree in Development Studies from Universitas Sumatera Utara and a Bachelor's degree in Forestry Science from Universitas Mulawarman.
