Tommy Shane

Tommy Shane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital engagement, content strategy, and disinformation management. Currently serving as the Counter-Disinformation Product Lead at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and as a Consultant at Purpose, Tommy has also held significant roles such as Head of Impact and Policy at First Draft and Content Strategist at the House of Commons. Throughout a diverse career, Tommy has successfully led teams to enhance democratic engagement, executed public engagement campaigns, and developed digital marketing strategies. Academic achievements include a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, a Master's degree in Digital Culture & Society from King's College London, and ongoing pursuit of a PhD in AI harms at King's College London.
