Rui Banki

Rui Banki has been working in the tech industry since 2001. Rui started at Softplan Planejamento de Sistemas LTDA as a Web Designer and UI Developer, where they led the development of the design guide for web applications, developed a CSS architecture, and coordinated studies for web applications. Rui also led and designed the front-end development of a time tracking application. In 2020, Rui joined Toptal as a Front End Engineer, where they worked as a freelance React developer in more than 5 projects. Currently, Rui is a Front End Engineer at PushPress, where they are creating reusable components using StoryBook and developing a website application using Next.js.

Rui Banki obtained a Licenciatura em Desenho from the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina between 1994 and 1998, specializing in Design Gráfico. Rui then went on to obtain a Designer Gráfico degree from Universidade Bardal between 2002 and 2004. In 2013, they completed a Pós Graduação em Design Experiencial from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, specializing in Design Experiencial. In 2016, Rui Banki obtained a MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft and a MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 certification from Microsoft.
