Juha Saarela

Juha Saarela has extensive work experience in various roles within the retail industry. Juha began their career in 1997 at J.Kärkkäinen Ltd., where they served as a Purchasing Manager and purchaser for over six years. Juha then joined Kesko as a Store Director for CityMarket Oy. In 2006, Saarela became an Area Manager at Maskun Kalustetalo Oy. Juha later moved on to J.Kärkkäinen Oy Ltd. and held the positions of Deputy CEO and Director of Purchasing, CPO. Currently, Saarela is the CEO of Puuilo Oy, a position they have held since 2017.

Juha Saarela obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Operations Management, Business, and Economics from Centria University of Applied Sciences, which they attended from 1991 to 1997. Juha also completed a Management Qualification (JET) program at Mercuria Business School in 2004-2005. As for their secondary education, Juha Saarela graduated from high school in 1993, specializing in Technic, Math, and Physics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Hallitustyöskentely-valmennus from Boardman Oy and as a Certified Board Member from HHJ - Hyväksytty hallituksen jäsen in the year 2023.
