Marcus Looijenga

Marcus Looijenga is currently a Partner in the ESG practice at PwC Netherlands, where they specialize in advising on and assuring integrated reports and sustainability information. They previously served as a Lecturer in Auditing & ESG Assurance at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and held various roles, including Manager Financial Audit and Director of Sustainability Reporting & Assurance at PwC. Marcus has been a member of the Werkgroep ESG Assurance at Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants since 2018 and contributed to the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group from 2020 to 2021. With a strong focus on transparent reporting and a commitment to societal impact, Marcus is actively engaged in publishing and lecturing on ESG Assurance topics.
