Aleem Ashraf, CPA, has extensive experience in real estate tax, beginning with a Finance Co-Op role at Johnson & Johnson in early 2013. Subsequent positions include serving as a Real Estate Tax Senior Consultant and later as a Tax Manager at Deloitte from August 2017 to August 2019. Following this, Aleem transitioned to PwC, where responsibilities expanded to include roles as Real Estate Tax Senior Manager from January 2022 to July 2024 and currently as Real Estate Tax Director since July 2024. Expertise encompasses various aspects of real estate investment trusts (REITs), partnerships, ASC 740, and federal and state income tax compliance, along with experience in REIT mergers and acquisitions, structuring taxable REIT subsidiaries, and managing UPREIT transactions.
