Avery Gray

Avery Gray is a Tax Partner at PwC’s Boston office with over 18 years of public accounting experience, including two years in the National Tax Services group in Washington, DC. Avery specializes in federal accounting methods, tax controversy, and mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on the power and utility sectors. An author of various thought leadership pieces on tax accounting and regulatory matters, Avery has assisted clients across numerous industries. Avery holds an MA and a BS in Accounting from North Carolina State University and is a CPA licensed in several states. Prior to their current role, Avery served as a Tax Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 2005 to 2018 and was a member of the US Army from 1998 to 2001.
