Bart Engelen is a PhD candidate in the Data Mining research group and currently serves as an associate consultant in the Data Analytics Advisory team at PwC. Engelen has a robust background in event organization and leadership, having held various roles within the SensUs Student Competition, including Vice Chairman and board member for Strategy and Innovation. Previous experience includes working as a data consultant at Datacation, a graduate intern at PwC, and a referee for the Dutch Football Association. Engelen holds an Honors Master of Science in Data Science from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, where the thesis received a top grade, and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Technische Bedrijfskunde from the same institution.
