Blake Capazorio

Blake Capazorio has a robust career in risk management and compliance, primarily with PwC across various locations. Beginning as a Relationship Checking & Compliance Associate in PwC UK from July 2007 to December 2008, Blake then transitioned to PwC South Africa, serving as a Business Relationship Manager and an Assurance Risk Management and Independence Consultant from April 2010 to December 2017. Since July 2020, Blake has advanced to multiple leadership roles at PwC, including Global Salesforce Risk & Independence Technology Director, Product Owner, Global Risk Technology Transformation Project Lead, and Global Client and Engagement Risk and Regulatory Technology Lead. Key accomplishments include the delivery of the first global system comprising seven interconnected applications to manage client and engagement risk for all member firms, and the development of a global system for audit teams to assess PwC's independence prior to engaging with new audit clients. Blake holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
