Brian Hamel

Brian Hamel is a Director at PwC with extensive expertise in internal audit best practices, including data analytics and risk management. Previously, they served as Head of Internal Audit for PricewaterhouseCoopers across Central and Eastern Europe, where they led strategic transformation projects and championed corporate governance initiatives. Brian's career also includes roles as Director of Corporate Audit at Lonza Group AG and Head of Internal Audit at EMBL, where they focused on aligning audit practices with organizational goals. They hold multiple qualifications, including a B.A. from the University of Bristol and certifications in fraud examination and internal auditing. Brian currently participates in advanced data analytics training at PwC CEE Academy.
