Chris Markley has extensive experience in both military and corporate settings. Serving in the US Navy from June 1999 to June 2005 as a Cryptologic Technician Technical First Class Petty Officer, Chris oversaw cryptology and intelligence operations while managing high-value electronic warfare equipment. Transitioning to finance, Chris worked at J.P. Morgan from July 2008 to June 2012 as an Associate in the Credit Hybrids Middle Office, focusing on credit derivative trading and financial reporting. In a leadership capacity, Chris held roles at WealthForge, first as Director of Product from July 2015 to April 2021 and subsequently as Managing Director of Product until January 2023, driving product development for an alternative investments platform. As a Digital Senior Product Manager at PwC from January 2023 to July 2015, Chris contributed to innovative product concepts leveraging emerging technologies. Educational credentials include an Associate degree in Business Administration from Tidewater Community College, a Bachelor’s in Finance from The College of William and Mary, and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
