Daniel Akkerman

Daniel Akkerman, Esq. is the Senior Director of the Financial Services Risk and Regulatory Practice at PwC. They possess extensive experience as a regulatory advisor, having guided numerous global financial institutions on regulatory and corporate law issues. Previously, Daniel represented tenants and drafted legal documents while working as a Legal Clinician at the Community Development Clinic. They also served at UBS, where they engaged in arbitration negotiations and improved trading efficiency significantly. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, graduating with honors in both degrees.
