Daniel Gitonga

Daniel Gitonga has a diverse professional background in information risk, compliance, and digital audit, with experience spanning several prominent organizations. Starting with an IT Support Internship at the Communications Authority of Kenya, Daniel progressed through roles including Student Volunteer at Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital and Infrastructure and Security Intern at Mobile Financial Solutions Limited. Daniel served as a Technology Risk Consultant and later as a Senior Technology Risk Consultant at EY, before transitioning to a Senior Information Risk and Compliance Officer role at Safaricom PLC. Currently, Daniel occupies the position of Senior Associate - Digital Audit Assurance at PwC. Academically, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business Information Technology in Computer Networks from Strathmore University and has completed various secondary and diploma programs, ensuring a strong foundation in both technical and design competencies.
