Danielle Cunniffe is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in tax risk and controversy. Currently serving as Partner in Tax Risk & Controversy at PwC Ireland since July 2022, Danielle previously held the role of Tax Risk & Controversy Leader and Director at PwC from April 2019. Prior to joining PwC, Danielle was a Principal Officer at the Office of the Revenue Commissioners from September 2010 to May 2019, where responsibilities included leading the National Anti Avoidance Branch, the High Wealth Individuals Branch, and the Revenue Training Branch. Danielle's career began at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Manager in Tax, followed by a Director position in Tax at KPMG. Academic qualifications include a Barrister at Law degree from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, AITI in Taxation, ACA in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland, and a BA in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick.
