Derek Black is a Manager within the Data Engineering team at PwC based in New York, where they focus on an internal innovations project automating configurable controls for Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, Workday, and NetSuite. Previously, they held various roles, including Tech and Data Experienced Associate and Data Engineering Senior Associate at PwC, where they led the development and implementation of automation solutions, utilizing languages such as SQL and Python. Derek is also a proud Honors graduate of the University of Delaware's Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics and served as the Community Service Chair during their studies. Outside of work, Derek enjoys cooking, exercising, traveling, and supporting their favorite sports teams.
