Dr. Thomas Schmid is a partner at PwC and has been committed to building trust in society while solving significant problems since 2012. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Group Accounting & Tax at Vattenfall from 2006 to 2012, and held the role of Assurance Risk & Quality Leader at PwC Deutschland from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Schmid also worked as Geschäftsführer at KNG Kraftwerks- und Netzgesellschaft mbH between 2007 and 2010. They earned a Diplom-Wirtschaftsinformatiker from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg and a Dr. rer. pol. in Controlling from ESCP Europe.
