Jason Baker

Jason Baker is a Tax Partner at PwC since January 2001, where responsibilities include serving as the lead advisor on tax structuring for multi-billion-dollar private credit funds aimed at global insurers and asset managers. Baker specializes in implementing credit fund tax strategies that optimize after-tax yields while managing regulatory risk exposure. Additionally, from August 2015 to May 2024, Baker served as an Adjunct Professor at Binghamton University in the School of Management, teaching a graduate-level course on Asset Management Taxation with an emphasis on credit instruments, structured products, and alternative fund vehicles. Jason Baker holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University, earned in 2000 and 1999, respectively.
