Jon Sperring

Jon Sperring is a Principal at PwC, specializing in California Tax Controversy, where they provide strategic solutions for complex tax issues. Since joining PwC in 2002, Jon has garnered a reputation for their expertise in California's tax system and has represented numerous clients in various administrative tax forums. Prior to their current role, Jon served as Senior Tax Counsel to the Honorable Dean Andal and worked as a Legislative Assistant at the California State Assembly. Jon holds a Doctor of Law in Taxation from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in History from UC Davis, while also teaching state and local tax as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law since 2002. A native of California, Jon resides in Sacramento with their spouse and three children.
