Michael Hauswirth

Michael Hauswirth is a Principal in PwC's national M&A tax practice in Washington, DC, focusing on all aspects of partnership taxation. They joined PwC in 2013 after serving as Democratic Tax Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Ways and Means and as Legislation Counsel for the Joint Committee on Taxation. Michael's earlier experience includes working as an Associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP and as a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. They hold a BA in History and German Language and Literature from Northwestern University, an MA in German Studies from Duke University, and a JD from Harvard Law School.
