Michael Snapes is a distinguished PwC Partner with extensive experience in financial services risk and regulation, focusing on capital, leverage, stress testing, and structural reform since joining PwC in July 2013. Prior roles include serving as a Policy Advisor at the Bank of England from October 2011 to June 2013, where responsibilities included providing secretariat support to the Financial Policy Committee, and as a Policy Advisor for the Independent Commission on Banking (Vickers Commission) from July 2010 to September 2011. Michael also contributed to the Financial Services Authority as a Technical Specialist beginning in 2008, and held various roles in the Banking Sector team from September 2002 to June 2010. Michael completed CFA Levels 1-3 between 2004 and 2006 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Warwick, obtained in 2000, following education at St. Bernard's Convent School in Slough.
