Paddy Carney

Paddy Carney is currently a partner at PwC Australia. Paddy has had an extensive and accomplished career in leadership roles for various organizations.

Paddy Carney began their career at The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia from 2003 to 2007 as a member of the CA Programme and Admissions Committee. From there, they became a member of PwC Australia Board of Partners from 2007 to 2014. In September 2014, Carney became the Director of PwC's Indigenous Consulting (PIC) and held that position until November 2016.

In January 2013, Carney took on the role as Trustee and Chair of Audit Committee for Sydney Living Museums (Paddy'storic Houses Trust of NSW) and held that role until March 2019. Additionally, from 2011 to 2017, Carney was a Governor for Sir David Martin Foundation.

In December 2018, Carney became a Trustee for Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences and Chair of Finance, Audit & Risk Management Committee which they currently hold. Most recently, in 2019, Carney joined Chief Executive Women (CEW) as a member.

Paddy Carney has an ACA from ICAEW, a BSc in American Management Science from Swansea University, and a BSc in American Management Science from Iowa State University. Paddy is also a FCA from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Paddy has certification from ASIC in Registered Company Auditor and ICAA in Chartered Accountant.
